About FAR-B - Friends of Agricultural Research - Beltsville, Inc. is a qualified 501 (C) (3) tax-exempt organization founded in 1985 to support the research, educational, and outreach activities of the Henry A. Wallace Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC).  Since BARC employees are not permitted to accept funds for events such as symposia, workshops, or conferences, FAR-B assists employees in receiving and dispursing funds for these essential activities.
