Current and former BARC employees, retirees, research users, private individuals, corporations, and others have given generously to the Friends of Agricultural Research-Beltsville (FAR-B) and its mission to promote Research, Educational, and Outreach Programs at the Henry A. Wallace Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, or BARC, as it is widely known. Gifts sustain FAR-B and its goals and purpose. We are enormously grateful for that support.
Most core gifts come to FAR-B in the form of annual membership dues, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) payroll deductions, and occasionally as cash or stock donations. FAR-B frequently is asked to suggest how potential donors can plan their giving or how they might structure their giving for now and the future. FAR-B accepts donations and bequests in either of following formats both of which are tax-deductible:
